Is not actually beer pong. Each of those cups is a slightly different glaze mixture so i can do some tests.

I also added: boss fights, a real time moon, flames that blast out of the ground based on the spectrum analyzer, and uneven terrain that looks cool af.

Picking my daughter up from school.

Me: How was school?
Her: Good.

Me: What did you learn?
Her: Nothing.
Me: 👀

Me: Anyone do anything dumb?
Her: **pulls journal out of bag** Tells stories all the way home. 🤣

@Rozzychan

Well. Wouldn't be the first time.

...and another old domain is biting the dust.

It's been way too many years to restart that specific site. Better put it to rest and focus on new hobbies.

The election kind of pushed it out of my mind, but I did see Laika's "Wildwood" this last week, and it was FANTASTIC. They've outdone themselves again on this one.

It's a pretty complicated story, but it doesn't feel rushed, and there are both very personal moments and epic-scale battles.

It's pretty clear that a range of techniques were actually used to animate this, ranging from stop-motion (which of course is their specialty) to fully-CG scenes (I'm guessing WETA had something to do with the epic battle scenes, since they're in the credits -- looks like "Massive" to me).

Honestly, some of it hit a little hard for a family movie. There is a non-trivial amount of "military" violence, even if it's not terribly graphic on screen.

@NilaJones Correct answer 🤷

We have a thing at the store where you can send in a picture of a project you made with yarn you got from us and we print out a photo and put it on the wall and this might be my favorite submission so far
