This seem to stem from a misunderstanding. Lemmy and Mastodon have different goals. Users of each generally don’t want the other’s content generally showing up en masse.
If you want to see something from Mastodon, you can usually get it on Lemmy, and vice versa. I don’t often see Mastodon posts either, but that’s because I only follow Lemmy communities, so I only see them when someone on Mastodon tags a Lemmy community in their post. If you want to see more Mastodon content, see if you can follow some users or hashtags from Lemmy.
But that might not be supported; I haven’t tried. If you prefer Mastodon, I’m pretty sure that you can follow Lemmy communities from there.

@jensorensen I've never seen a more accurate image of Ronald Reagan

Now while the critiques of Chuck and Hakkim is very on time it's clear the Zionist in the DNC are still hoping to retain control of the party.
Here's everyone's favorite rising Democratic Zionist, Elissa Slotkin, who appears to be pretty stoked about being asked if her Zionist ass should be put in power.
While she does have a great question about the Dem's 100 day plan no real reform on the Israel issue will be coming from Slotkin.
So don't fall for it.
“Last night I unfortunately missed a vote series on two Joint Resolutions of Disapproval regarding the sale of weapons to Israel."
Elissa Slopkin was well known last year during her campaign for ducking and dodging questions about her Zionism. The ex-CIA officer with "middle east training" is by her own words EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the region and conflict.
Some how she's CIA trained but just "forgot" about this vote ...

I've been doing a lot of work around anarchists and leftists who lived 120 years ago. But the end goal isn't that, it's to connect the dots to now.
I want to publish a book showcasing the sharpest minds on the left. Not just some twitchers and "influencers" but people who are immersed in this school of thought, people who are actually doing stuff either intellectually or in the streets organizing.
Obviously, I'm doing my research, but I'm curious, who do you think I should be reaching out to.
PM me.

I sometimes see my own Lemmy posts, and often others’, on Mastodon, but I have no idea how it happens: It seems random, and I’m not the one doing it…
Is not actually beer pong. Each of those cups is a slightly different glaze mixture so i can do some tests.
@MLE_online How do you remember what piece has what glaze? Or are you test samples in the same grid somehow?

As one of the very few people who had a paid subscription to Majestic during its extremely brief life, I have spent the last 25 years trying and failing to convince anyone else that it was a real thing that actually existed and not just something I hallucinated
@jalefkowit as a 12 year old i believed that a game where i would get real-life call and faxes would be the coolest thing, but now that just sounds like an incredible hassle haha
Playing beer pong in ceramics class to loosen up for throwing and glazing
@ambergrey Congrats, Well done.!
@elsemusic ahh thank you my friend
I like that veggie melt sounds like a UK insult. YOU VEGGIE MELT! (not you you are great)
@TheBreadmonkey hahahahaha I'd say cockney but my examples of that have been very well known to be bullshit.

i feel like lemmy has broken the promise of the fediverse
cross-posted from: feddit.org/post/37748055
… where every platform communicates with every other platform. i’ve rarely ever seen a post from mastodon on here, and even if it’s technically possible, it doesn’t seem that it happens very often.
likewise, i’ve rarely if ever seen a post from lemmy on mastodon. these two platforms just don’t seem to interact much.
the fediverse is already very small. fragmenting it even further by having multiple services that basically don’t talk to each other is not good. we need to either (a) aggressively find a way to bridge certain lemmy communities to be more visible on mastodon, especially location-based communities, or (b) i think that i’ll have to decide to only use mastodon in the future, because that’s where all my irl-friends are (yes i have those too, i do not only exist in a terminally online state 😊 and because mastodon is bigger already and that’s why i think that it has a bigger chance of taking off.
so, what do i suggest should happen?
especially for location-based communities (australia, london, darmstadt, …) it should be more probable for people living in these locations to draw use out of the lemmy community. maybe it’s just a question of showing lemmy content from these communities on mastodon home pages, or auto-subscribing mastodon users to nearby lemmy communities. something like that.
