@YakyuNightOwl The only reason they are discussing the CIA agent as a replacement for Speaker is because she’s a younger Zionist.
Successful night tonight, my chums. Very lovely to have unlocked a new level in life of going out with non-drinking male friends. Difficult to convey the alcohol culture in the UK, but you're basically indoctrinated into going out with your mates and getting annihilated on alcohol and that's essentially your whole social and personal relationships. Unsurprisingly this has a knock on effect to many other areas of your lives. Culturally it's not terribly healthy. So I'm thrilled to have discovered going out on a Saturday night to a shisha joint and just banging a load of sparkling water, tea, a bit of food and having a shisha. Also not terrifically good for you, but a far cry from drinking 8 pints and getting in fights. Had a laugh, talked about our feelings and listened to one another and came away from it validated and positive and crucially will wake up tomorrow (today) feelin' fine. Although I went slightly overboard on the sweet potato fries and hummus. Like a wildman. Men! You too can do this and still be a total double-dog alpha male. Grrr. Had so much hummus mate. You should have seen my BiL. Went mental on the shisha and had 4 cokes. We cannot be stopped. Also - we talked about our hopes and worries in a way that was supportive and nurturing. Oi oiiiiii!

[Discussion] How do you (unit-)test your shaders?
Hey all! I’ve been thinking about how to best unit-test my shader code, since TDD has been very helpful for me. But I’ve been able to find surprisingly little information. If possible, I’d love to hear from your experiences!

dear non-transfeminine American liberals:
while you're busy cheering a blue tsunami today, the transmisogynist propaganda campaign surrounding trans girls in girls' sports was also a big winner last night.
today, trans girls in Nebraska and Arizona are waking up to find that they're now "biological males" under their respective state's laws.
soon, it's likely that trans girls in Colorado and Washington will wake up to the same.
while you're going back to brunch confident that you've defeated fascism, thousands of transgender girls - including some in deep blue states - are about to be subject to segregation based on the 'M' that a doctor wrote on their birth certificates.
your goal for the next two years is to see that no further segregation takes place, and to reverse this harmful trend.
trans girls, trans women, and transfeminine people are not acceptable losses. get busy.
I never thought I could look like this 😭😭😭
@deadliftbear hell yeah!

It has no idea about the shape of your house because the shape of your house doesn't really matter.
Someone pressed my button? Drive backwards until I'm off the dock, turn 180 degrees, drive forward until I hit something, roll a die and turn accordingly. If it goes on a particular number then maybe I'll follow this wall while rolling it every now and then until it comes up on a different number or I run outta wall. Battery gets low, keep driving and rolling until I see the dock light, then drive in such a way that the light gets brighter until I see voltage across my ass and then stop and go boopily boop de doop, job done. If a cat pukes while I'm driving and rolling then that ain't my problem
@ifixcoinops The CBC Broadcast Centre in Toronto had mail delivery robots that used a similar system in the 90s. They followed an invisible path painted on the floor (Don't know if it was an IR or UV paint or what, I was a kid when this was explained to me) and stops at set places along that path for people to come get their mail off. I think they could signal the elevator what floor they went to, but it might have just asked people to push the buttons with a recording.

For a while, I was under the impression that all spiciness, or burning sensation in food flavoring, would come from capsaicin, the compound that causes it in chili peppers. Then I realized that Sichuan peppers are a quite different kind of heat. Wasabi (horseradish) is different yet again.
How many hot-flavored compounds are there? At least five!
