yeah, no. You don't get to decide that, chump.
@tamarasellman I hope he lives in misery (in a jail cell) watching everything he tried to build dismantled and fumigated. Assuming it doesn't dismantle by itself, given how corrupt and shoddy his work is.

I would like the Democratic Senators to elect a different majority leader. They probably won’t. But this is a time to push Schumer to commit to taking the fight to the Trump regime. Senator Chris Van Hollen is up for it. So is Senator-Elect Abdul El-Sayed. https://www.bloomberglaw.com/product/blaw/bloomberglawnews/bloomberg-law-news/X1PCL5524L08GO8O8NHDQM86GNF?criteria_id=521d76d244d7dd0b017b107e1440ca0f&search32=ZNGZQDRwZl-O-MBmTD3YDw==ynTr8kSkFg6cukVpha7gF8MYbyCZp1VhUdyGWwj1BkgDCai5jl5NFG_9FQhOR9N3Ily99Ok1vShAWs6_MR32DQ== 1/
@dn nah, that's for plebs.
@dn but yeah, guess if he chucked on into his lounge he wouldn't need to contend with that pesky log burner 'red tape'.

I don’t think Schumer deserves any significant credit for the electoral gains made by Democrats this year. Indeed, I believe the work of grassroots activists across the country made the real difference. 2/
It's so disheartening to explain this over and over working in critical infrastructure cybersecurity full time. It's because everyone demands cheap, fast remote support and AI enabled real time telemetry and control. We’ve worked ourselves into this corner through demanding connectivity and I see next to nothing truly airgapped anymore. In fact, it’s impossible to convert some critical systems back at this point.
A lot of our power infrastructure is so complex with microgrids and renewables and real time billing and buy backs that it can’t be switched to manual anymore. A lot of industrial vendors won’t provide warranty support if their remote access is removed.
And this is all happening in super low maturity environments with limited if any cybersecurity resources or tools.
We’re trying, but the state of things is pretty dire, the barrier to basic disruptive attacks is lowering rapidly, and we can’t find enough people who understand the industrial environments and cybersecurity on thirty year old computers fast enough to hire close to enough people.

@octothorpe @lisamelton It was for PvP but also line of sight reduction for busy areas to keep load manageable back in the day.
Does Forever have the old secret under part of Ironforge?
@ultranurd @octothorpe Yes. That's where the new Hall of Thanes dungeon is. But "Old Ironforge" itself is slightly different.
@AbandonedAmerica I mean I remember being really mad about it then, like "hey everybody this guy actually wants to do the thing and do it well so that he helps people, why are we making fun of him ffs"
@ephesossh I didn't make fun of him but I did have a really sick Crystal Method remix of the speech that I downloaded off of Napster. I listened to it about 10000 times and died laughing every time. Which I admit was sort of making fun of him but also, I did legitimately think it was incredible and would totally have voted for him, probably solely based on that.
Did a very small #scala thing.
I wanted to use the scalac sbt-tpolecat settings on scala-cli and had no idea how to get them.
This is the outcome.
Zero fucking AI. #FuckAI.
Super tiny too, so wtv.
Wanted to add more things, maybe later, like other output formats or get the other infos inside the library.
@lightweight Is he subdividing his home-property to make space for one?
@dn nah, that's for plebs.
@bea how much of the history of diy orchiectomies do you know? I think it's inspiring to see what people have accomplished along these lines.
here's an article that I think is good on this subject, about somebody I know: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/trans-history-underground-sugical-clinic-b2114777.html
I've recently seen a zine telling the same story but I don't know where I'd find a digital copy

@heidilifeldman I don't think Schumer deserves ANY credit for it. In fact, it happened in spite of him. The credit should go to progressive activists and politicians.
