If your “anti-abuse” security requires your software to be closed source, then your software is not secure. Well built software can be open source, and still secure.

You imply that your code could not prevent abuse if it was known, so, no offense, but that code must be pretty bad!

I like the fediverse because it distributes power. I, as a user, have the power to choose my instance, choose my moderation, choose the structure that my social interactions are built upon (threads based, microblogs, etc) and if I dont like something, I have the power to change it. Thats why open source is such a perfect fit to that model. Closed source federation then, sounds to me like you didnt get it.

@darth_hideout His fingers aren't that strong. He's sort of a girlyman (apologies to actual girls).

The only time adjustment cats recognize

ears: too big for the head
tail: too long
eyes: too big for the face
body: tiny, and yet... fat?
voice: like a waring priest casting summoning spells

germany must be destroyed

@mdhughes Yes, but Kaji tends to watermelons (which he thinks are cute) in the middle of an apocalypse which is pretty awesome

@alisynthesis a lot of that is on ko-fi. Various small artists and freelancers.

getting frustrated. probably need to slow down

For the 20th year. Voting stats showing that once again, you need to tuck in your indoctrinated hatred, and show nothing but indebted gratitude to every Black woman that you know.

But liberal racism won’t even allow you to acknowledge that. You want to call this a #bluewave to cover up the racism that led to the current white klan kakistocracy. No sweetheart.

Your current democracy (what’s left of it) would not exist without the voting power of 𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣.

@theintercept I hope he can never eat at a restaurant in peace the rest of his life. I’d prefer he was in jail but I’ve lived in the US all my life and know that ain’t happening

Are there any maps showing which instances federate which others? Like those maps with nodes and connections

It’s for no particular reason, I’m just curious >.<

I remember an interesting 3D space that showed just about every part of the fediverse.

I think it was this one, but it doesn’t look like the website is running anymore:
