oh goody! my Amiga 500 Plus starts!
I'll need to write out some disks to get farther and do some more diagnostics, but at least we've got life.

(mono output only, too, because I don't have the right adapters yet)

It was all so confusing in the beginning, now it is just confusing sometimes inbetween!

@evan

A mandate to keep the president in check, but to govern? That's tricky.

Blue Texas today and new Zelda tomorrow 😌

apart from placing the buttons you have to press as far as possible from each other on the screen there's not really anything to this game

@glyph @phildini @hynek Yes, Texas alone could trip the popular-vote compact for 2028. And the Supreme Court can’t mess much with it, since permission for interstate compacts just requires the “consent of Congress”, which means a Democratic Congress can do that without even needing Trump to sign off on it.

Another fun fact: the President’s consent is not required for Congress to admit new states.

After a fair bit of wrangling with the plumbing, I've got some very exciting fediverse.party updates to announce!

Firstly, we've removed Diaspora from the landing page. The first update to that page since I became Lead Goose.

Diaspora only federates over its own protocol, which means its accounts can only communicate with accounts on a handful of apps that are backwards compatible with that. It's still in development, so it's still on the All Apps page.

@davidrevoy This othwr article also makes the case of how little data might screw up a LLM, although it is a different case as it deals with a different stage of training (fine-tuning, not pre-training) and could make a model more dangerous depending on how it is used. https://arxiv.org/html/2502.17424v7

Factoid time! Lemons are actually a hybrid fruit that humans created. So life, in fact, did not give us lemons...
