PeerTube is a video sharing platform, sort of like a Fediverse alternative to YouTube. It also has support for livestreaming. People from Mastodon can follow and interact with PeerTube accounts and videos.

You can find more info about PeerTube, including answers to common questions and links to step-by-step guides, on this page:

This was fun! I had a chance to be one of the guests on @electre's 'Podcast One - B side' alongside palmdrive (@ujochi) from South Africa and IR (@boumboumtechno) from France. Thank you to @icaria36 for the invitation to be part of this conversation 🙏

Does anyone know where to get a cool walking cane to help with stability for a moderately cool person? Not something mass-produced or that looks like medical equipment.

As I described yesterday, Papyrix's page-cache can defer to logic for laying out paragraphs of plaintext into a layout/rendering tree. So what objects might a Papyrix layout be constructed from?

There's a PageElement superclass with x/y coordinates, as well as PageLine & PageImage subclasses both wrapping a block object. While a Page wraps an array of such elements.

There's a method to test whether any of those are PageImages, & a method to get min/max coords on both axis.

The data does not lie.

Black women turned out at 94% Democratic. Black men at 77%. Every non-white voting bloc leaned Democratic by double digits. White men voted Republican at 61%. White women at 59%.

If you want a progressive agenda in this country, it must be acknowledged and respected, that it runs through Black folx.

Black women specifically.

@larand @Ronnie @CStamp yep, that checks out. I'm *technically* GenX on paper, but barely (1979). I'm really more in that small overlapping Xennial generation that somehow both grew up with and without technology.

My ChatGPT says:

9.5 is bigger than 9.11.

This can be confusing because “9.11” might look like it’s greater due to the extra digit, but it’s not. Think of both numbers as decimals:

9.5 is the same as 9.50

9.11 stays as 9.11

Now compare: 9.50 > 9.11, just like 50 > 11 after the decimal point.

Let me know if you want a visual or a trick to remember this!

Is it pushed to forge.slackware.nl or somewhere else ? I did not see any commits at nl.

Yes. Maybe I have access to a better version since I’ve consented to having my data collected. I use the app, and I’m pretty sure my login is via Google and everything. (Privacy is important to have by default, but I like to opt in to things, mostly for fun. I understand this may be horrifying to many, and I apologize for my weird hobbies.)

Hey, hey, ho, ho, Schumer and Jeffries have got to go.

Wasn't aware of this previously (but then, there's unfortunately traces of Claude in the commits, sigh): "GemWM is a Wayland compositor that looks like GEM, the desktop of Atari's TOS"
