My band, Liotia are gigging tomorrow, best to book a flight now to avoid disappointment!
There should be a wiki or something that documents historical events on the Fediverse, like FediVision, the Great Migration Event of '22, and The Fediverse Chick.
And John Mastodon!
Do you plan what you want to talk with when you see a doctor?
Han xocat dos trens a Vicalvaro i Adif ha suspès l’alta velocitat entre Madrid i Andalusia.
Sí, i al menys 10 morts. Un AVE de Renfe ha impactat contra un Iryo.
@spla La tragèdia:
Planning out what to say when I go to see the doctor. Ugh.
I wish there were more forms or other ways of giving doctors information, talking is great, and needed, but it can feel so rushed that I leave things out.
But if you come in with too much "research" you make the doctor worried you are either a hypochondriac or second-guessing them.
My doctor is generally pretty awesome I feel confident if she just has the whole set of information she'll make a good recommendation.
@futurebird Can you take a summary sheet - v factual bullet points of symptoms, with the biggest questions/"could it be x?" diagnosis at the end: not undermining their expertise, or bombarding them with second-hand research, but will ensure they get all pertinent information?

Am I the first person ever to run a Bourne shell on a Commodore 64 I wonder.
A 1MHz 6502 sucks at disk I/O, sucks at copying memory and sucks at running C code, especially when the C code has to be optimized for space not speed. But it works.
I have plans for REU support which I think will make it much much faster assuming i can get away with a few tricks and the timing doesn't break anything.
10円セールとかってだれが何の得をしているの。物理的なものだったら在庫処理とかの理由で納得できるんだけど、大体は電子的じゃん。元より存在などしていないのだから10円でも売りつけたほうが得って事なの?
@GuitarSith @ambergrey @geoffduncan I still record one section at a time, though. Often (not always) recording all the verses first, then the choruses, then the bridge if there is one. I'll do 3-5 takes of each section.
I then pick the best take for each section, with an ear to keeping vocal timbre consistent. Usually but not always the last take is the best. I then listen carefully and steal a syllable, a word or a phrase from other takes as needed.
[... ends]
@GuitarSith @geoffduncan @ambergrey @elsemusic Yes, I imagine this approach would lead to the best sounding vocal line. As a musician with 3 jobs (now down to 2), my sessions have often been 20 minutes or less with zero prep time.
Thankfully, the last full time job ends in January.
