@littlerao You could consider a code forge like @Codeberg
Codeberg uses @forgejo which has an importer tool on it's website. It's also #NoAI
You can also choose some tags and post a little about your project. We're on a network where we've got varying amounts of spoons.
It's not so much "if you build it they will come", more like state your values and some folks will ask questions.
@onepict yes, codeberg is where I wanted to move (cause self hosted forgejo would again move the single point of failure to me).
There is no official community space rn.
We used to have a mattermost years ago. It's what we agreed on. Then folks started to use shitcord anyways and then complained that mattermost was useless cause nothing happens there (a problem that they created in the first place). Now a lot has changed, almost no one from back then is present anymore...
@danieldk @tranquil_cassowary @ronald @bolzano @barbarakathmann @EricChrSmit If a bank decides to enforce having a device with basic security then that disqualifies /e/ even if they're fully willing to permit using a secure alternative OS. It's counterproductive to conflate and will greatly hinder efforts to have this system permit using secure alternatives. Messages to them should not conflate them or it's likely to make the situation worse. They should not view as the same thing as it isn't.

So a few corrections:
Tankies aren’t a bad thing, and it’s a nazi dogwhistle as pointed out by your link.
Being a ‘Tankie,’ isn’t a bad thing, it’s being anti-nazi. The Term was invented by nazis, to criticize the soviet union crushing a nazi uprising with tanks, barely a decade after they won WWII.
The tanks in Tiannamen square were the good guys. Objectively so. Maybe don’t root for the CIA?
Please be smarter than you are. The people that own every aspect of your life are obviously going to lie to you to keep you under their ownership. It takes very little to debunk their lies.

Yeah no I wasn’t it to feel like having a conversation in my couch, kinda latency. 😅 Or virtually indistinguishable from that. Fluxer so far fits the shoe. 😁
First post here. Hey I'm dylan with the solarpunk workshop, I build things and I write things. Figured I'd show off something I was cleaning up today. This is the solar bike. As images go on you can see earlier versions of it. #solarpunk #diy #ebikes #solar
@AsahiLinux I just want to state publicly I'm very sorry that odious DHH character and his weird little Xitter band are dragging your name through the mud.
Don't pay them a moment's heed.
I'm extremely grateful for all your hard labor to bring Linux to Apple Silicon, *the right way*, and I applaud your steady progress at a reasonable and humane pace. 🙏
We're with you.
@jaredwhite @AsahiLinux what’s the prick been saying now?
I have to disagree with the tamagotchi thing 😄 My CachyOS has been running for two years now and it's been rock solid. Every single update went through without issues. I install and remove new stuff on it daily, compile things, code, work on it, play games like Minecraft or Star Citizen and more, also from Steam... – and I haven't had one single problem or had to fiddle with anything. Not once.
So for me it's not a tamagotchi at all, it's just a really fast daily driver. Boot problems like that usually have a specific cause (dual boot, bootloader, interrupted update…), not "Cachy just does that".
But well... I'm surely not new to linux at all. I'm using linux only since over 20 years now. So maybe this is the reason? :-P
@christin @luce first of all I'm happy to hear that your cachy is running great :)
For me it's always been the "trickier" of the two distros (each has its own SSD, so they shouldn't interfere with each other and I'm using grub as a bootloader). I also make sure to complete my updates.
Nonetheless I find mint easier to use and it's been more reliable (though I love the cachy terminal).
If I personally had to choose one as a daily driver I'd choose mint any day of the week.
Working on new status pages for all services♥️
There we go! Multiple status pages for all instances and one for an overview, all including links and self-hosted

Fluxer is still easier though so I’ll stick to that for the time being. But I did consider Mumble when Discord started acting a fool. 😅👍

Fluxer is chill. Honestly if you just want VoIP like you just plop down on a couch and talk to people. The only other thing I can think of that I could honestly recommend would still be mumble.
It’s simple because one job really well it’s easy to use and it doesn’t get in the way.
But if you want something that is a bit more discord like and relax then yeah fluxer is really about the only good option at the moment.
All the matrix b* nonsense at people love to talk about is really good… As a replacement for like Microsoft teams…
I really don't want to talk about the Zelda game any more. But in 30 minutes I am leaving for a rehearsal for a Zelda-themed musical improv show I was invited to be in, so I'm probably gonna have to.
@andycarolan A sensible thing to wonder but GenX ate tons of processed foods too...
Anyway, I can't help but notice, this series promised a "Romance of Three Kingdoms" but so far the series has lingered very tightly in the range between 0 and 2 kingdoms. We very briefly got up to 2 kingdoms a couple episodes ago and now I think we may be back down to 0.
I feel convinced at some point we'll get 2 functioning kingdoms and the Peach Oath Boys will do something wacky and bring us up to 3 but we are struggling to hit 1
@mcc I asked my dad about this, and he told me that "three kingdoms" referred primarily to the Three Kingdoms Dynasty era, and much less the kingdoms themselves.

Thank you everyone
@stux I first met Aaron on the RSS-Dev group. Yahoo killed the archive, but some of it is still online at archive.org.
Let's go back to the beginning, 26 years ago, on August 14th, 2000.
Rael Dornfest makes the initial post.
Aaron makes the 2nd, in ways that seem prescient.
Aaron was 13 at the time. 3 mo. before his 14th birthday...
Thanks, Aaron!

Its because of Lemmy being built by pro-genocide, pro-authoritarian, anti-trans communist Republicans.
Sorry, the app encountered an unexpected error
