I am a nurse; I dedicated years of my life to study and arming myself with knowledge so I could treat the sick and alleviate their suffering. Yet, the brutal war that transformed life around us stole everything from me in an instant. Occupation forces arrested my beloved husband, and he vanished into the depths of prisons and detention centers, leaving behind a gaping void and six souls trembling with fear and hunger. Today, I am the sole provider for five family members in addition to myself. I face children stalked by hunger, a home imperiled by harsh circumstances, and a whirlwind of responsibilities each morning—armed with nothing but patience and the hidden tears I hold back to keep our home from collapsin،Every morning, I leave my young children behind—watching them bid me farewell with eyes that fear I might not return—and head to the hospital or the available medical points. There, I witness the horrors of tragedy and gaping, bleeding wounds; I embrace a calling steeped in resilience, spending my time treating the injuries of the displaced. The hardest part? I have undertaken this monumental task without asking for a single penny or a salary. The healthcare system has collapsed, and medical facilities lack the means to operate. I chose to volunteer without pay, dedicating my time and my very soul to the children of my homeland and my people, only to return at day’s end to an empty home, unable to provide even a loaf of bread،I believe that goodness still resides in people's hearts, and while my pride would normally prevent me from asking for help, the crushing hardship facing the children of prisoners and the oppressed leaves me no choice. Your generous donation is more than just financial aid; it is a lifeline that enables me to provide food for my children and sustains my resolve to continue my noble humanitarian mission of treating the wounded, without the constant worry of how to feed my family. Every contribution, no matter how small, is a candle lit in the darkness of my home—a true source of support for a woman fighting on two fronts: the front of healing wounds and the front of sheer survival. Please stand by me and my children during this ordeal; may you be richly rewarded.
