@ascentale @FourT4 @bikenite i like the suggestion from replies to your original post that you hit a pothole or something but dang it would have to be narrow to mark up both sides and if it was one you're lucky it didn't grab the wheel and throw you down

I once ran a sewing machine needle through my finger and I'm still here, so you're probably safe, as long as it wasn't rusty. I also once sliced a tip off my finger with a rotary cutter. Sewing is more dangerous than non-sewers may realize!

@arstechnica It could have been organised by Nvidia so that they can then secret sell it to China. It could have also been Google/OpenAI/Amazon/Meta/etc. who decided that they couldn't wait 6 months for hardware, or didn't like the price.

Low Earth Orbit Adventures is a 3D Newtonian spacesim set In the near future. I've tried to make it pretty chill and accessible (eg it can be played on the couch with a gamepad).
It's a "mastodon native" game (I love being here). Thanks to people for their advice over the last few years.
It's on Steam and Itch (DRM-free) for Windows/Mac/Linux (it was made on Linux). Boosts/toots/suggestions appreciated!

Help @FourT4 solve a mystery!
Q4. What on earth did I hit in the dark? Horrible noise. Both wheels' rims "slashed" on both sides, at intervals all around the circumference, and white powdery marks on the tyres. No punctures or other damage.
