@onan always but it might an issue with the SSL/TLS certificate
@vtrlx the remasters always look like how I remember the game in my mind. improving graphics is a curse...
@hbons That is, ultimately, I think the big thing that the Ocarina of Time remake has going for it is all the "wow" moments as the game dazzles you, exactly how the original did in 1998.
props to people who still have lots of curiosity and desire to learn stuff
Here's the full link, in case the short one doesn't work:

If you're in the mood to listen closely, and you have good listening equipment, this tune is fun.
Also, no one will know that you listened to some AI blasphemy if you don't tell them.
I am inexplicably terrified of spiders. Well, it's not really inexplicable. It's quite 'splicable - them terrifying beasties. However. I'm trying to be better with my spider pals. That being said - for some reason, the ones that have broken through the barrier are these little gents. I don't mind them at all. In fact I'm quite amiable towards them. These little fellows (whom for some reason I've gendered as male, despite clearly being female for some ineffable reason) are right up my straße and I'm quite content to have them in my world. Let us cohabitate, my little chums. Weird, eh?
@TheBreadmonkey I love that you've fallen in friendship with the most Tim Burton ass spider available.
@ai6yr yeah, but i like those book cases ;)
@paperposts Well, at least they don't have bookshelves full of fake books... I've seen a lot of those here before. (or color coordinated books for show only)
The Hot Potato Changes Hands Again: On the 2026 Midterm Elections
https://crimethinc.com/hotpotato2026
Trump's loss in the midterms sets us up for a volatile two years.
Ultimately, the Democrats are no more capable of addressing the root causes of popular anger than the Republicans. State power will continue to swing back and forth between parties until our rulers consolidate an autocracy or we manage to effect revolutionary change.
The voters did their part. Now the party has to do its part. If ever there was a way to kill Democratic momentum, it would be to allow Schumer back into the powerful position that enabled Trump to return to the White House with a Senate Majority.
Schumer’s failures are well documented, and any insinuation that he gets credit for Tuesday’s wins is laughable at best. These wins happened not because of him, but despite him. Let’s Address This.

Life can be funny, at times. Eleven years ago, today, I’ve received those two boxes.
Today I’ve been working all day with both of them.
@stefano is that an opi one?
Democrats just won despite voter suppression, gerrymandering, and purges. Putting Chuck Schumer back in charge is how we squander it. https://www.qasimrashid.com/p/why-chuck-schumer-must-not-be-senate
The Cybertruck is no longer for sale?
What will I do if I ever want a car which looks like a metal doorstop?!
@neil Then it's time for that Lamborghini.
@deadsuperhero@fedizen.net uhm I see it here
@ivan@bonfire.cafe Yeah, it seems to federate back to the group's original instance, but does not show up within the group from where it was posted.
Here's the local topic: fedizen.net/group/Bonfire_Ne...
Democrats 2026: okay here's what we'll do, we'll agree with the Republicans about trans people. Then, the Republicans won't attack us on trans rights and maybe they'll switch parties and give us a little kiss
@geekysteven Sucks. I do think it's better to run on/emphasize popular stuff that everyone (bigots included - they vote) likes. But demonizing folks, no. Don't reach for votes by hating the scapegoat of the week.*
*Works for Republicans, tho.

Fediverse
Hi from normals.me. If you can read this, the federation works
This post is written on https://normals.me and delivered to !fediverse@lemmy.world over #ActivityPub, so if you are reading it the basic plumbing works. Now let me explain what is this.
Normals is a forum with communities, threads, and questions with an accepted answer. It is a single instance, not software you can host, and the core is closed for anti-abuse reasons. The federation module will be published separately with implementation notes (FEP-67ff).
What federates today Every community is a Group actor following the Lemmy model (FEP-1b12). Follow @selfhosted@normals.me or any other community from Lemmy, PieFed, Mbin or Mastodon.
Posts and comments go both ways. Replies from your instance appear in the thread on Normals, replies from Normals go back to the origin.
Remote content is labelled with its origin, links back to it, and is never copied. Media loads from the source.
Signed fetches, so it works with instances that require authorized fetch. NodeInfo 2.1 is up.
Policies, in case they matter to you, it has no ads, and no paid reach, and of course no AI training on posts. AI crawlers blocked by default, public mod log with reasons, and no automated removals. Numbers at https://normals.me/transparency so please take a look.
If something from your instance shows up wrong here, or something from here shows up wrong on yours, reply with the URL and I'll fix it. Andy Piper mentioned NodeBB uses the same group model, if anyone runs a NodeBB instance I'd like to test against it, if possible.
I hope we all have fun. Cheers!
@pndc I love that!
who needs they shrussy ate
Hmm, estate sale ad. My interpretation is that the person here was an attorney, had no hobbies, and spent their entire life working, and thus the estate sale will be boring and not worth it. (because, no hobbies).
@ai6yr those book cabinets though...
Warning, warning, midnight is approaching! @algernon should go to sleep.
@ginkgo_biloba FINE.
