TIL there's a "Black Hole Bullet" some 20 million times the mass of our sun traveling 1000 kilometers a second only visible because it's leaving a thin line 200,000 light years long of new stars in its wake.

The elitism is in thinking that using AI for some parts of the application (the frontend) nullifies the whole project.

I very much doubt the AI use is confined to the frontend.

We can only be sure if/when they open the backend code.

why the frontend fine to vibe code while other stuff is not?

Many reasons:

• frontend code has a lot less variability than backend
• users already expect some common UI/UX, and AI has been trained on these so much that it rarely gets the basics wrong.
• UI code is not part of the core business
• buggy frontends may be bad to users, but they are a lot less likely to cause catastrophic errors in the whole system.
• lots of developers do not care about frontend and think that it’s s just about “making it pretty”, so they are happy to delegate this work to a clanker.

Has AI been used to create this?

Do you really need to ask? 😅

We're psychology students, the amount of LaTeX you need to write a thesis here is very small (unless you specialize in statistics like I did, but I'm the only one doing that).

You can totally learn how to write a psych thesis in LaTeX over a weekend. And then so many problems just go away.

Or you could spend your already scarce money on Claude tokens, I guess.

《Holi, ho tornarem a fer però recordeu que si no tindrem a l'extremadreta fent i desfent.

It’s a bot. I asked it to stop violating the Poincaré conjecture and conform his 3d design to Hilbert space dimensionality

@mastodonmigration @mastodonmigration Those candidates just did not get as much money from party sources as they could've had. Schumer recruited most of the Senate candidates - and fully funded them! Nixon & Jolly lost because FL didn't have enough get-out-the-vote campaign. They were both within 1-3 pts of winning in FL. El-Sayed won in MI because he ran a great campaign. Assuming this is a progressive win will sink you! It wasn't. It was a vote AGAINST MAGA.
