My furry boys do not get the concept of daylight savings time at all, and are haunting my every step around the house desperately trying to communicate the fact that they have never been fed before in their entire lives and may perish at any moment if they do not get their dinner immediately

One commenter called it "screensavers but for printers." Another's brother keeps a weekly test page running so the heads don't dry out, and one let his sit three weeks until the nozzles clogged and misaligned. A skeptic swore the drips were AI, because real ink never lands like that.
If you own an inkjet, print one page every week, and if you have never watched a single droplet land, Macrofifying's feed is the tour.

Getting it was engineering, not luck. The droplets move faster than a camera's shutter, so Bielfeldt deconstructed the machine until the sheet moved under a stationary printhead, worked in a dark room, and let a flash serve as the shutter, freezing the drops mid-air.

Apparently it is only a thing for constitutional amendments in Minnesota, Hawaii, and Wyoming, where they need to have the support of a majority of all *voters* in an election.
Also there are 14 other states which may also penalize some blank votes, but in much more specific circumstances than this. Minnesota seems rather unusual then. Interesting stuff 🤷♂️
