a breakdown of my Bad Replies, given that the worst-of-the-worst instances are of course blocked by my moderators:

- 80% users from major mainstream servers, especially mastodon.social, who have poor netiquette or the stink of subconscious misogyny about them

- 15% single-user instances owned by people who have already been banned from every open-signup server and sincerely believe that every single one was completely unfair and tyrannical

- 5% kolektiva users openly planning war crimes in my mentions

but, to be clear, I get a lot fewer Bad Replies here than I ever did on twitter while getting a similar number, if not more!, Good Replies

(including from kolektiva users. they're not ALL planning war crimes in my mentions)

@funkybuddha @wod0bow 6.18 LTS branch is currently the least insecure option when considering the different tradeoffs. It will take a while before the next LTS branch takes that position. The new vulnerabilities need to be ironed out.

Debian isn't a good choice if you care much about security for multiple reasons though. The approach used by Fedora is far more reasonable balance where they do update to new point releases throughout a release and has two releases per year.
