@davidgerard When ours start doing that, it's time to change the batteries and/or clean the grot out from underneath which is fouling the mechanics feeding into the strain gauge.
I'm also sorry to report that when such scales start reading inconsistently, they read low. So the true figure probably is 101.1kg or slightly more.
@pndc we changed the battery recently in hope of more accuracy, but i'll give it a scrape as well

eMudra, the certificate authority that issued eight intermediate TLS credentials so weak that anyone could mint certificates for any website or mail server—one had a private encryption key of just 4—said it’s getting out of the business.
@dangoodin Recent precedent: in 2024 Google Chrome stopped trusting new TLS certificates from Entrust (those issued after 11 Nov 2024), citing 'a pattern of compliance failures' over the previous six years (Google Online Security Blog).
