Tangerine Neue has another pr-release beta out now. This update brings a bit more of the Tangerine vibe to the theme (after spending a few days recovering from the 5.0 switchover).
New font, more complete coverage…still getting better!

Whenever I dog sit my daughter's chocolate lab and he shits on his walk I make sure we go past the local Tory MPs house and it ends up in his manicured garden. Huge turds requiring two goes to get in the bag.
@fesshole Finally some good news
Saw my first "we must abandon PHP" take in the wild. 🙄

My understanding is federated “payment” systems are difficult. I think there is active discussion on the topic, but I’m not sure where code/development is at, or if it’s even started.
I think flohmarkt ("federated decentral classified ad software") is the closest we have right now. It has low (~10-30) Monthly Active Users (MAU), but is in active development.
We traditionally associate mining with such ecocidal environmental erasure, metals and minerals. And yet this is very much the site of a modern mine, one whose minerals are human culture, knowledge, creativity and desire.
@JulianOliver This is what happens when you put a few civil servants from a small municipality (Muhos has a population of about 9,000 people) up against a global multinational. They didn’t stand a chance against the pressure from both politicians and Google. The latest news about the case was that the Prime Minister’s Office tried to hide correspondence between Finnish Prime Minister Orpo and Google. It all reeks of corruption.

Slrpnk.net is down
Looks like our servers are on the fritz again. Usually we aren’t out of commission for too long. Hopefully we are back soon.
I could go on... but yeah... fuck this shit of "you're either a math person or not". You may not be _interested_ in math, and that's ok! But if you _are_ interested, then you absolutely can learn it; you just need be willing to put in the work, ignore the pace of others, and find teachers who care.

This track was on repeat in my mid-teens. The Wild Pair remixed Paula Abdul’s Opposites Attract and blew our minds.
