@dereel
Thank you. This One Boy probably inspired more hacks than anything else I've made. A Vircorne Guide is probably more played than anything else I published on itch. And I love Traditional Embodiment, but I'm not sure everyone understands how it's so different from just reading it, and so I don't think anyone's played it.

They’re not private at all, I’ve never been under the illusion that they were.

I like it, have some guts, stand on business. If people want to downvote they should be willing to attach their name to it, internet points are fake anyway.

not. at all. i consider anything i put here akin to standing on my nearest street corner during rush hour, shouting into the darkness

confused how anyone could think anything otherwise.

Я сам всю жизнь жил в ожидании чудес от Интернета, например. И они даже начали оформляться. А теперь у меня на глазах его ломают. Не сыпь соль на рану.

1: the word “tankie” was made by reformist communistsm not nazis

2: you have a million pieces of evidence about the tanks killing normal people

3: and no, Democracy is a real thing, and capitalism can be regulated with rules (Genius for your chicken strips brain, but not for me), most of the EU is an example

4: there is no thought in communism, communism is the most vague thing on earth, it cannot pair with democracy since it’s so vague

your odor lingers on

@ai6yr
I bought a few cookbooks recently, and they all required quite a bit of research to find ones which had been around a while and had authors generally recognized as experts. There's just so much slop everywhere now.

@kimu Thanks!

@leonzandman Huh. That’s odd! Certainly not my intention to block it.

False:

1. “Tankie” was coined by orthodox communists to describe and criticize party members who supported the Soviet Union’s use of military tanks to brutally crush the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. And, since you really love sources,

The term “tankie” was originally used by dissident Marxist–Leninists to describe members of the Communist Party of Great Britain (CPGB) who followed the party line of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). Specifically, it was used to distinguish party members who spoke out in defence of the Soviet use of tanks to suppress the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 and the 1968 Prague Spring, or who more broadly adhered to pro-Soviet positions.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tankie 2. The Tiannamen Square protests are led by a vast majority of students. Reading the article you cited, it states: “…and are clear that the “protesters” (rioters) initiated the deadly violence in Beijing (none of which occurred in Tiananmen Square itself).” You can see that this mofo denies the massacre happening because it literally didn’t happen in the Square (true, but a non-sequitur). Secondly, that the protestors initiated the violence. The protests were peaceful, until the Chinese government declared martial law and ordered thousands of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) troops into Beijing. 3. Sure. The article is fucking misleading. Let’s assume it is right, and even then, your (3) is yet again a non-sequitur: because the protestors initiated the violence does not make the massacre justified.

@fesshole Reminds me of the (now anvient) phrase: Let me google that for you.

this is literal misinformation

Sweet, fresh name for the blocklist.

They’re Tankies.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tankie

You probably want to avoid their instances like lemmy.ml or lemmygrad.ml unless you like to root for the tanks in the Tianamen square massacre.
