What we've learned in the past years is that a good chunk of software developers just wanted to be slave owners.

yes I realize these are libertarians and nothing they say means a god damn thing

maybe we should stop letting these fucks represent us

maybe, right now, in practice, all versions of the gpl are joke documents

Today's book problem: is "blood slip n'slide" a viable transportation method for a body?*

*FICTIONAL, not dead, just bloody big/heavy and bleeding out anyway. Might as well put that to good use?

*I once had to move an unconscious, anesthetised dog over half my bodyweight, and could not budge her.

Character 2 is stronger than me, but hoo boy, you are NOT going to move this 6ft 5 dead-weight guy alone w/t cartoon physics, or getting inventive about it..

There's always going to be a push and pull between Freedom of Speech and community safety.

But it's okay folks!

There's a Freedom we can twin it with that means we don't have to have a "big tent".

Freedom of Association!

It's defined in Article 20 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Let me remind you:

Article 20

1. Everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association

2. No one may be compelled to belong to an association.

(edit: I see your image description mentions that it is in fact satire -- which, to my mind, means that nobody is seriously endorsing this as a good way of relating to politicians. ...so maybe I missed your point somehow.)
