"...A critical power structure near Bluff looks like a sinking Leaning Tower of Pisa after waves of floods have inundated southeast Utah over the past week.
Now, as the area braces for another rise in the San Juan River, Bluff Mayor Josh Ewing is worried that a new surge could cause the damaged power pole to collapse.
If it does, he said, hundreds of families in Navajo Nation communities to the south could lose power and Bluff could lose cell service for “a very long time.”..."

When they say "caption editor" they mean "textbox for putting in the text that is posted with your video in the post" not "editor for subtitles/captions on the video"
@brooke (thinking to how i would expect that functionality to be titled in russian or esperanto) definitely not how i'd name that
should have at least titled it "description editor", though i'd avoid the term "editor" altogether

Just watched an Amazon drone deliver something to a backyard a couple away from ours. Not nearly as loud as I expected, but profoundly surreal to watch it slowly hover down between old-growth autumn trees to the fence line, hold for a bit, then slowly rise back out. It was honestly like a CGI sequence happening in real life.

AI producing excessive amounts of code is a self-reinforcing phenomenon wherein you have to write huge diffs to get anything done due to the way the existing code is implemented

In publishing our new song we've also upgraded the Secret Deal website (https://secretde.al) to the new version of Faircamp and it's fantastic.
(Took some figuring out mind, all due to the random customisations I'd made and the crazy way I'd gone about it!)
