It's rather odd that you're choosing to attack the Fediverse - one of the most woke platforms there is - and not some platform like Twitter that's genuinely racist. It just makes you look petty.
Parfois je pense à tous les cousins et cousines que j’aurais dû avoir, et pourtant j’en avais une trentaine, mes grands-parents s’étant visiblement mis en tête juste après la guerre de repeupler le monde d’une ribambelle de petits juifs révolutionnaires.
Parfois aussi j’aimerais bien aller voir la famille au bled là-bas à l’Est mais la famille elle n’est plus là.
C’est un monde fantomatique que je me traîne et que j’essaie de ne pas transmettre à mes enfants, comme ont essayé aussi mes grands-parents et ma mère et mes nombreux oncles et tantes.

I might have to switch to Piefed from mbin. Both are far better than Lemmy imo, but piefed is starting to leave mbin in the dust too. I keep hearing of ways piefed just does things better.

It's an interesting choice, tying the frame rate to sixteenth notes. It makes the video really jerky and jarring, but gives it a sense that everything is marching to the beat of the song. I'd make her movements have a higher rate, just to contrast the jerky movements of the technology and environment, but I don't know how hard tweening would be.
I tried to use Blender to model a house once. Couldn't get the stairs to snap, kind of had to give up. It doesn't do well with things with holes in them. Tried to use it to make an animation once but uh... the physics simulation is a bit disconnected from much of the stuff in the program. Like where you want to just give her hand a slight vertical impulse to the beat, and instead you have to calculate the position of her hand at each moment yourself.
@cy yes, there is a lot of keyframing involved in animating a character in Blender.
A lot of the visual style, to be fair, was chosen to cope with the hardware limitations of the potato I was trying to make it on.
24fps would’ve meant rendering three times the number of frames. ☺️

Is there a way to not see duplicate of the same topic across different communities?
Hi everyone!
I’m really enjoying the Fediverse through Lemmy and Peertube.
One creator I enjoy and follow on the Fediverse is Gardiner Bryant as his content is really enjoyable.
Sadly he ´s the target of my post as he shares his content on many different communities that I follow.
Today I had 5 times the same topic on RetroDeck (great project too) on my feed on Lemmy (Voyager).
It is the same on PieFed (Interstellar).
This is really annoying and I haven’t found a way to not show these duplicates. Do you know about one or is it worked on?
Also when crossposting, it would be great if everything appeared under on post. Is it feasible?
Sorry if it’s easy and I just missed it. In a way I hope it is because it would mean that the Fediverse is festure rich😇

@ml right. That's why I said it was my fault for not investigating it before signing up.
Also, I'm not going to blame them for not being clear on the signup page. I didn't read all of the information anyway.
I will indeed contact them and ask if they have any plans to implement this. I'll share any response I might get. Thanks for the suggestion.
@ml for anyone interested, I got a reply from them, and they explained that they don't sant to manage domains because that would require them to collect more personal information about their clients than they want to.
If I understand them correctly, they also don't want to deal with people managing their own domains due to complexities with things like DKIM and all the other security features (I guess the support would be difficult).
@ioster @Dykecyclette C'est complètement fallacieux comme argument, c'est pas si dur que ça de rendre une application accessible, ça prend pas non plus plus de temps à mettre en place, et quand c'est fait pendant le développement c'est complètement transparent. Ça ne devient une charge que si on voit l'inclusion de certaines personnes comme une charge car on voit ces personnes comme moins importantes que les autres.
@KekunPlazas @ioster @Dykecyclette Le souci c'est pas l'accessibilité de l'application mais le choix du dev de prioriser le développement d'une appli plutôt que d'ajouter les options spécifiques aux personnes handies sur son site existant.

You’re not alone in this wish, though I’m sure that doesn’t surprise you. I sort of accepted it as just part of how a federated reddit-style forum would work, but if there’s a way to address it, that would be very cool.
