After all the public backlash, the Proton CTO’s AI manifesto was published to Protons’s blog (presumably it was scheduled in advance, but still):

“The first is a change in engineering culture and engineer mentality. Your job has fundamentally changed. It is no longer to write code, and LLMs are not here to help you write better code faster. Your job is to help the LLM write better code faster.”

He literally wants his engineers to be reverse centaurs. @pluralistic

I keep telling my architect peers this, and it might be difficult to figure out but it really is not. I have yet to use "generative" whatever in my work BECAUSE of this specifically, that it will be hard later! and if they use the 'hey-aye' (in some form of application) in their work it will be potentially lost work.

Something I was thinking about while poking my Pixel 3a this afternoon is how cheap and accessible #Nura has made getting a fully functional computer. I bought my Pixel3a for £65 and for that I get 2 camera sensors, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a touch screen, Wi-Fi, headphone jack, assorted sensors, USB charging, bluetooth, terminal and a lovely UI from #Phosh , a snappy OS courtesy of #Nura and more apps than I have time to look at. Gateway drug I tell you! 😀

Is there such a thing as an online library of logic analyser/data captures from various devices? Like, if I happen to have a bunch of data and clock signal captures from a bunch of game controllers where I press every button in a particular order, is there a website that would like to have those?
