"The damage has significantly reshaped the American foothold in the Middle East, with two regional officials saying the U.S. has moved many of its assets out of the Persian Gulf."
This article fills in some of the blanks on the war with Iran caused by Hegseth doing everything in his power to ensure that independent news outlets can't keep the public up to date on US military activity.

@ai6yr We have a Halloween cat holding a pumpkin that plays that tune while the cats eyes glow and the pumpkin’s lips move.
@Schouten_B The reporting is highly inaccurate and based around taking inaccurate claims from the state at face value. They make unsubstantiated and outright false claims along with distortions of the truth to achieve an agenda which are presented as facts. This is one of many similar stories filled with misinformation and misrepresentations as part of another propaganda push. We weren't contacted and neither were any neutral experts. This is not journalism, it's state propaganda.
Dress like a pirate and sing Don’t Stop Me Now at karaoke? Don’t mind if I do :)

I have a briefcase full of DAT tapes of rough mixes. Because one of my jobs was to record a mix, then print a CD so the engineer could go out and listen to it in their car. This would happen a lot on mixing sessions.
I never noticed it until today: #GNOME Papers can show PDF attachments (additional files embedded within the PDF).
For example, the raw data used to generate the diagram is attached to the document.
@FineFindus did not know that was a feature of PDFs. very cool.
Handed out candy to kids and fireball shots to the much older kids. That was quite something.

I thought this was art because there is art on the other side in the same style, and it was installed with the pink "broken" bike that looks intentional but, some people actually put their bike on it. There is also no plaque. Part of the concept maybe?
Also Luxembourg is nice in autumn weeee 🍁
@stephaniewalter Functional art / artistic utilities are the best!
