@jalefkowit Only one of the Craig films I saw was "Casino Royale." Enjoyed it okay, but I'm not the target audience for 2000s "dark and gritty" action films. I'm definitely in the Roger more camp. 😛
@computerchronicles You didn't miss much. To paraphrase Roger Ebert, CASINO ROYALE got the Craig era off to a rousing start, from which it never recovered

Uh, I was wrong? There's no `amdgpu` driver yet?
Anyway, I'm trying to get a modern(ish) BSD machine at my fingertips. NetBSD is my preferred choice, but I lack the proper hardware (it happens, not NetBSD's fault). OpenBSD is my second choice, so I'll go with that tomorrow.
This machine in question is hooked up right next to my gaming PC, easily accessible with a DisplayPort/USB KVM with a little button to switch PCs. In other words, super-easy access for doing @osnews work!
Ghostbusters 2 deserved better. Like at least a little better.
Just had a trick or treater wearing the periodic table. This is my favorite costume in years.
She said last year she was a quadratic equation.
I said and next it'll be an integral (oops. I skipped derivative but, well, quadratic equation kind of has that covered), then differential, and then partial differential, and then she'll have to be in grad school by then.

This is apparently the art studio that made the 6-story Catrina:
What stopped Trump last time? Right, the Chairman of the Join Chiefs of staff saying "naw, we ain't doing that."
And Trump was left with the Chud rush.
So if you're asking me - is Trump going to give the order to do Hitler shit if and when his party loses? YES, by GODS YES he will give that order.
What I don't know is who is answering the phone. Last time? It was nobody.
@AnarchoNinaWrites isn't that why kegseth has been busy purging the military leadership?

Happy Halloween 🎃
My Saturday schedule is packed with non-Halloween household tasks. We hope to see more trick o treaters this evening, since it's a Saturday.
I'll be offline almost the whole day, getting my to-do list checked off! Tomorrow, I will be online more - no grueling tasks on tomorrow's schedule 👍
Halloween day, quick update. I'll be back online tomorrow 🎃
Finished my household chores to-do list.
Put two flying ghosts up in our front yard tree.
Warming up by woodstove as family chicken dinner is cooking in the oven.
Continuing our family Halloween movies marathon.
Have a fun, safe & spooky Halloween night ✌️👻🧙♀️😱

@computerchronicles Roger Moore at least had the kind of cheerful camp you need to put over that sort of goofy bullshit. Daniel Craig's more po-faced Bond made that a harder sell

Completely unrelated, but a Film Nerd Nitpick: that opening sequence from SPECTRE sure looks like a single long take, which would have been an insanely impressive feat to pull off, which is why it bummed me out to discover that they kind of faked it

@jalefkowit your comment immediately made me think of 1917, and I looked it up, both directed by Mendes
After five years, @rek and I recorded a new video for Hundred Rabbits in which we talk about some of the changes we've made to Pino since our return from Japan, based on the lessons we learned sailing the Pacific Ocean.
