A good start would be to integrate the core of AudioMuse as the other options are all proprietary. This is the only one that does all the features I know of.

@yojimbo Sorry for hijacking the thread but if you could somehow integrate this stuff with Veilid so the data could be queried across the network from like a global crowdsourced database you could essentially replace all features of every single streaming service.
why did whoever made this game decide to have the protagonist be both gender-locked to male-with-penis and also not gender locked and not even required to be cisgender
another weird mechanic in this game is that when you find a hostage in a dungeon you can attempt to recruit them
if you successfully recruit them they become your employee which means you pay them a salary
if you don't, you're guaranteed to make them into a slave which is the same thing but they don't get paid
and either way if you're mean to them they can run away so assuming this game mechanic is known to the people of this world why would anyone ever resist the "you get paid for work" check to get to the guaranteed-to-succeed "you don't get paid for work" check

Um yes, OBVIOUSLY. When your entire career has been defined by three 'once-in-a-lifetime' financial crsises and you couldn't afford a home until maybe never and half the people you know are out of work and the other half never had retirement funds cos they were all contractors and...?
I basically figure there won't be retirement by the time I get there. The boomers I say this to kind of pat me patronizingly and say, 'don't worry, you'll get there,' as if it is just that I can't imagine I will ever get old, and then when I start to explain how and why I will actually honestly never get there but I hope they enjoy retirement because it still seems to be a working system for them, they sort of back away slowly and assume I'm depressed instead of a realist.
@cyberlyra I assume the climate breakdown including collapse of health systems will ensure I never need to consider my retirement, a sort of gallows solace I take for my generational impossibility of seeing the retirement some boomers have

I don't have nay Tasmota devices, but I'm reading my outdoor temperature sensor with an #OpenMqttGateway #RTL433 and I seem to loose connection to that whenever #HomeAssistant restarts. Just this past weekend, I figured out how to restart the it via MQTT and started wondering how I can do that from an automation after such a restart. Your automation gives me just what I was missing.
Now I need to make an automation (and a tinfoil hat). 😄

@zymurgic @neil yeah, this sounds really weird. I've got a fairly complicated setup, HAOS VM on one VLAN/subnet, mosquitto VM on a separate VLAN/subnet, around 20 Tasmota things multiple versions, different networks, some over VPN from another site. Home Assistant restarts every few weeks for upgrades and have never seen the Tasmota devices not reappear. It's a neat hack to get things working again, but I'm absolutely intrigued as to why there might be a problem in the first place!
I wonder, if you priced out replacing every single car in the USA with an electric one (assuming Chinese prices), if it would cost more or less than "generative AI" and the AI data center buildout

(Especially if we spent all this “invention” on figuring out how to build infrastructure cheaper like most everywhere else in the world …)

For unknown reasons, the management password for a switch I set up is not in my password manager, and all the standard default passwords ("password", "admin", "", "4"*) are being rejected. I will have to factory reset it.
