My favourite piece from @virtuosew's "Dreams of Amarna": the pointillist "Head of Ankhsenpaaten" (one of the daughters of Akhenaten and Nefertiti). Done in "layers of seed stitches in silk thread over a plain silk fabric", apparently.
@pozorvlak Do you know, I hadn't thought of it as pointillist? I was thinking about the structure of the stone!

@pfefferle @derek the unluck is that both leaders are named Matt so we can easily misunderstand.
That said, I noticed it's quicker to use WriteFreely, although it has a couple heavy issues I reported on their github (1776 and 1778).
Unfortunately there are few updates...
As for WordPress, it does not depend on me; it depends on Mullenweg's decisions on accessibility. My fear is that he's gradually dismantling the team, so, even reporting issue, becomes more and more complicated.

If I could find time and energy to put my #PIM #lecture (Personal #InformationManagement = how to organize yourself + your data; totally tool-independent/agnostic) in a #book (either ~10€ or for free, haven't decided) and/or a set of lecture videos (topic-related, various length, in sum maybe 30hrs), what would you consume?

@publicvoit Firts of all, congrats for finishing the book! People who haven't been through this have no idea how hard writing books actually is.
I would definetly charge money for it. I'm convinced that there are plenty of people out there who want to support your work.
It's true that at some pont, the ebook will appear for free at some russian server but that doesn't mean that nobody is willing to pay for it.
For videos: You might try a teaser video and check if people are interested.
P.S.: Sorry that TU-Graz removed your lectures. It's sad to see how little they value their reseracher's work.

This is an odd assignment from the teacher, but as a teacher I would rather have "I couldn't think of anything, gosh this is hard" in place of AI content.
Because these tasks we make as teachers... it's not because we want the output from the tasks.
As I tell my 9th grade students all the time "I do not eat homework, it's not what nourishes me"
Teachers make tasks so you experience them. Whatever the point was of this exercise? You've missed it!
@futurebird Reading this, I think of the daughter and other children like her who are growing up with a parent who is putting all their personal information into an AI agent, enough for the agent to provide this answer. There will be lawsuits and broken families. The daughter is only ten years old and doesn’t have a choice.
Some promising news, at least overseas (I am in #Scotland), Lula has beaten #Bolsanaro in #Brazil, although he is refusing to kept the decision at the moment (his Dad is under house arrest for involvement in an attempted coup after losing his last election), and in #Serbia, #Vucic has accepted defeat as well. Small rays of light - and the #US have their mid term elections coming up soon as well. Maybe the malignity of #Trump will be reduced at least?
@anon_opin I think people are misunderstanding the point. It's like how when you toss a coin to help you make a hard decision, you don't know which option you prefer until it's in the air.
