Just wrote an exceptionally long issue in Github and as I was finishing it, my finger grazed what I believe to be the "escape" key and it just disappeared. Totally gone. No "are you sure?" box like normal. No recovery. Opening an issue did not restore it

Well, to be fair, those of us aware of it have spent decades shouting from the rooftops that the Republican Party was a fascist party and that for some reason the Democrats never did anything about it; and only now are more people recognizing it.

And many of the so-called “leaders” do absolutely nothing of what actually needs to be done to foster legitimate third parties. And we do know what needs to be done, it’s not a mystery. They just don’t ever fucking do it.

In the USA, the wealthy do their best to make life hell for the poor, in order to keep others from affecting them. This includes preventing them from having food and healthcare, having their lives criminalized, being restricted from voting or kicked off the voter rolls or kept in prison.

And then the wealthy do their best to make the remaining people against the fascism attack the people the wealthy want to use as scapegoats.

Judging by your comment and others like them, they’re succeeding.

Type 2 also includes the “why’s it taking so long? Look at all these people suffering through the collapse. We need to make it collapse faster so we get to the good part faster” people, without acknowledging that this is what collapse looks like: lots of suffering

You ever notice how the ‘burn it down’ people fall into two camps?

1. not in the affected area: chicken-hawk types who advocate the sacrifice of others.
2. in the affected area: I didn’t know the leopards of societal collapse, starvation, and violence, would eat my face.
