Der US-Technologieunternehmer Musk ist Medienberichten zufolge für die mutmaßliche Einschränkung der Satellitenkommunikation in der Ukraine verantwortlich. Sollte das zutreffend sein, wirft das einige Fragen auf - auch an US-Präsident Trump.

@elettrona As a WordPress and accessibility professional, and a core contributor, I agree - Matt is a douche. I'm so sorry to read this... it has not been easy. I don't know what happened to Mr. Mullenweg, money? Power? Beats me.
I do not actively work with the community myself, and it sometimes feels like a miracle that some improvements actually end up in core. This is why my company and I are focused on providing good, accessible WordPress web services outside their influence.
As a programmer, I can build my own WordPress plugins and solutions since it is open source. The same applies to Mastodon and other software I host. For example, Mastodon core is not accessible enough for my deafblind wife, so I host a version that is for her. I have no time for politics.
@rolle I have not so high skills in programming, so I've given up with a platform which does not listen to me. Mullenweg's intentions are clear: separate accessibility from the rest, through a plugin, maybe a paid plugin.

To sum up today's Ukraine Starlink kill switch news. Musk did it. Reportedly talked to Trump before and after he hit the kill switch. Trump says he didn't do it. Rudio says the US didn't do it. Hegseth says the US military didn't do it, and Starlink has authority to do it under their 'terms of service."
Meanwhile the service is still restricted and many people died today in Russian attacks against civilian targets.
Somehow, feel like we have not heard the final word on this yet.
