That second solution is what I thought of as doing as I read this. It doesn’t rely on a third party service being up. And that instance has to do that work anyway. So why not just share the results with others?

HTTP signatures are not a default feature, the baseline is ECDHE key exchange with forward secrecy and deniability.
There isn’t even an official standard for redistributable signed page metadata. There’s just prototypes

The same way you know the rest of the data hasn’t been tampered with - you don’t. And when you find untrustworthy instances, you defederate from them.
@mpjgregoire for self-labelling, I prefer using precise labels.
Because with overly generalized labels, you imply that doing the right thing means the same for everyone.
I realized around 15 years ago how much this is not the case – and over the years turned the core of this understanding into a tiny roleplaying supplement:

hey so, i got a Yamaha PSR-70 from someone who wasn't using it, and the manual for the thing alludes to some midi settings, but doesn't explain how most of them are set. Does anybody know where i can find some resources on something like this? I found someone who reverse engineered the chips inside, but didn't really get into how it maps to the interface.
#Today Public service announcement for anyone buying a car from a dealership: When they shove that tablet at you to get your electronic signature, insist they show you each & every document to review. DO NOT trust them to be following what you agreed on. We discovered every optional service had been added in, increasing our loan amount by $10K 😳 Had to go back in yesterday & have them cancel them all. 🤬

Tesla and SpaceX are exploring a merger, and Musk says it’s about superintelligence
Tesla and SpaceX have formed board committees to explore a merger, Elon Musk said on SpaceX’s Q3 call, pitching it as a superintelligence play.

Emails from Nazi's who says they are not Nazi's that prove that they are Nazi's got hacked and leaked
YouTube
@stux Hack Nazis.
Make "faith"-based movies that are genuinely funny and people swear a lot. I dare you. Like literally nothing is stopping you other than your weird hangups. The fucking POPE went to Bulls and Chisox games, you think that guy didn't yell some vulgar shit at refs or Ron Artest?
I'll argue that Knives Out 3 (Wake Up, Deadman) is the best faith-based movie in a long time.
"I keep coming back to this graph because it’s so eye-popping, almost impossible to believe. As you see in the legend, the blue line is data centers. The grey line is everything else. Everything else. Commercial properties. Rental properties. Single family homes. Multiple family homes. Pick your preferred flavor of development, NIMBY, YIMBY, urban, rural, it’s in there. You basically have rapid data center growth and everything else contracting."
Testing cross-posting from a new thing. Hopefully it works!
