@g Mastodon v5.0.0 alpha is out, but that is a test release. It will only be upgraded on Masto.host when it reaches stable. This can take a while. Only when the Mastodon dev team decides that it has fixed any problems with this new release.

Here's what the challenge is. As soon as one starts to capture the hypercomplex constructs of human society into named concepts, all the necessary constraints on this unbounded scope, the names that were chosen, the storytelling about how concepts are connected.. they are all mere abstractions coming from one person's mind, which immediately start to bounce against the perception of reality and life that other people have. Even if the concepts are entirely sound, they are also entirely perceptive. The more complex a system model becomes, the harder it is to bring it across to others. You have to become like a a really savvy salesperson selling concepts and saying "Bear with me, this works", where you didn't explain the gaps yet.
This exercise ultimately only gets the real motivated system thinkers with you, if you are lucky, while everyone else zooms out.

I could use some #layout advice. I received some beta reader feedback, and they pointed out that leaving an empty line between paragraphs in _addition_ to paragraph indentation the way I did it is not common for books. And, well, they are right!
I am not sure _why_ I made that specific layout choice back in 2020. Thus, I have no strong feelings one way or another.
Fortunately, paragraph spacing is fairly easy to adjust in #TeXLaTeX. However, since this is a fairly significant layout decision, I wanted to get some feedback on what kind of paragraph spacing my readers would favor. Here are a few examples:
1: Paragraph breaks equal to 1 empty line
2: Paragraph breaks equal to 0.5 empty lines
3: Paragraph breaks equal to 0.3 empty lines
4: No paragraph breaks
Please boost for reach - since this is an important decision for me, I want to get as much feedback as possible!
