@hrefna "Hey, remember this candidate you didn't like? Think about that!"
IIRC the GOP trots out the ghosts of elections past anytime they run out of ammo / an election approaches where they're unpopular.
@jzb Yeah, except that I'm seeing these comments entirely from supposed leftists.

On this day in the fediverse: October 20
A year ago today, FediDB counted 30,947 servers and 10.40M accounts. Today: 41,482 servers (+34%) and 14.15M accounts (+36%).
So why is anyone talking about Harris's "electability" right now?
It feels incredibly suspiciously timed to be discussing this right before an election she's completely uninvolved in.
She's also currently _polling_ the highest of any candidate so far. So if you don't think she should be the candidate it's a good time to find someone who will poll better. Because otherwise there's a reasonable chance she will become the candidate without "the Democrats" needing to do anything remotely interesting.
But there's no reason to be discussing her _at all_ right now.

limited space 😞
we keep adding more buttons and it keeps looking bad on mobile so I wanted to move that into a menu so we can add as many options as we want in the future

Alrighty new design 🤩
@alexia @funkylevi maybe just a simple plus? either that or maybe just having separate icons for quotes & polls if those are the only two things there since there's still plenty of room on the bottom there. i can't really think of something else that'd match adding polls/quotes (deleted the original since it was in the wrong place in the thread)

and what about making the "media" upload icon the standard image icon?

minor things like exact alignment are moreso a bug than intended feature
