#Mastodon is getting a new look in our upcoming 5.0 release.
We wrote a bit more about our design process and how we approach community input. If you’re on mastodon.social you will see the new design tomorrow, on Tuesday. We rely on your feedback!
The new FediDB has 390+ contributions from 64 people!
Not bad for a few days, we look forward to the next 128 people ✨
Ok, I've managed to install Zimbra inside a illumos (SmartOS) LX zone.
I'll perform more tests, but everything seems to be fine. I had to perform some modifications, but in the end...it works. I might even make a script to do it.
Why? Because I can. Should I put it in production? Probably not. At least, not for now. But it's nice to see it's possible to do it!
all this talk about vibe coding killing SaaS is pretty funny.
sure, you can build your own CRM in a weekend now. probably a decent one too. but who’s going to maintain it? fix things when they break? add features? what happens when the person who built it leaves?
and there’s a reason mature products take years to build. it’s not because writing code is hard. it’s because figuring out what to build takes experience that no amount of prompting can replace.
i think a lot of companies will happily ditch their SaaS subscriptions, build their own stuff, and then slowly discover why they were paying those subscriptions in the first place.
anyone already tired of maintaining their vibe-coded creations? 🙂
