WAIT IVE BEEN MISSING THE BEST IDEA EVER
So I inverted all booleans in wafrn
but what about I make Wafrn 2 times better in everyway…
by doubling every number
It's so fucking obvious
@mobilizon it looks like there is no support for event series or recurring events. This is critical event planning functionality that shouldn't be missing. 😡 It's like having a plane with no wings.
A good work around is to create a serie in any calendar app then import the ICS.
If you want to advertise for all year round activities, you can also create an event from september to june - it will show as an "activitiy" in the search results and on your group page.
Duplicating events is easy, for monthly meeting for instance there is no need for a serie.
A serie would be more handy for the organizer, but might be a pain for visitors if they are predominant in search results.
@mobilizon Does it interoperate with calendar software (presumably via iCalendar)? I tried to self serve the answer but "Learn how Mobilizon interacts with other tools" at https://docs.mobilizon.org/ is a 404
@soaproot It works both way: you can export an iCalendar feed from a Mobilizon group (https://docs.mobilizon.org/5.%20Interoperability/4.flux_rss_ics/) and you can import an iCalendar feed in Mobilizon, using an import tool (https://docs.mobilizon.org/5.%20Interoperability/10.import_events/).
PS: thanks for reporting the broken link, it's fixed now.
per-user emojis on wafrn are cool as fuck, now I can
all over the place! 😁
I'm now oficially a spanish citizen. Granted this month. Wife is pregnant. Found out this month.
I'm a bit scared. I'm not used to have a life moving that fast.
Anyways, to celebrate I should cook some tortillas today, and hope the next months nothing interesting happens.
@release_candidate Congratulations for all the achievements!
FreeBSD as the enterprise-bsd is under huge pressure, I guess?
But way to go, NetBSD!

Didn't OpenBSD also ban LLM generated code? It's also good. I thought that only FreeBSD allowed LLM?

@gabboman@gabboman.xyz
it looks really bad on gifs though
@verbina29@app.wafrn.net
I will look into an option for “use original media on dashboard” but will use lots of bandwidth
hold on what. is it just. only compressed in the image in the post and not when you click on it????? what why
@verbina29@app.wafrn.net
Wafrn images get compressed on feed to use A LOT less bandwidth.
When you click it we know you may want to zoom so we show the full one.

Its not a proper game demo "launch" without last minute bugfixes and build updates.
I'm currently running #littlefedi on ubuntu on oracle free tier.
If I have free resources left, I'm gonna check it.
@luca cool! if you do it, let me know your impressions
I never tried, but it should work on oracle cloud free tier
https://blog.netbsd.org/tnf/entry/netbsd_arm_on_oracle_cloud
@luca yes, it should
