a weeks ago Google said .gh .sl .as CCtld were hacked, now based on the spam on fedi in last few hours, it seems .gt .sc and probably more are compromised as well?

@stux @jwildeboer @gbargoud The issue here is not stolen tokens, but users who reused their password somewhere else, or got their password leaked.
We recently merged https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/40745 which should help for inactive users.
For active users, they should configure 2FA, and we are working on prompting them to do so when they log in.

@rapha3l ah, good point, yes, we need to add a site-wide default setting or something for logged-out preferences.

Hallo zusammen,

unsere Instanz wächst kontinuierlich weiter. Aktuell sind wir 361 aktive Accounts, die gemeinsam bereits 39303 Beiträge verfasst haben. Damit gehören wir zu den etablierten LGBTIQ+ Instanzen im deutschsprachigen Raum.

Ein solches Wachstum bedeutet auch steigende Anforderungen an die Infrastruktur. Server, Speicherplatz für Medien, Backups und die technische Administration erfordern entsprechende Ressourcen. Die laufenden Kosten werden derzeit zum größten Teil privat getragen, einige wenige Nutzerinnen und Nutzer unterstützen bereits mit kleineren Beträgen.
