Leading space development with humans has always been a taxpayer money furnace with no return on investment in sight.

The existing space economy is autonomous satellites, and any sustainable space economy will likely grow from that. *Eventually* humans in space will become cost-effective.

The paradox of local events:

On one hand, local organisms spend precious time keeping up on social media.

On the other hand, individuals scroll for hours although it feels like a waste of time.

What if we could meetup without being manipulated by algorithms? By changing the system, we could free up a lot of time for more interesting activities.
