Hello Mastodon. I'm building Dashmox, a hosting control panel for Linux.
It came out of paying more every time I added a website. Per account, per domain, per server. A site costs nothing to run, so this one counts nothing, on any plan including the free one.
Nginx, Postfix, Dovecot, PowerDNS, MariaDB on your own box. Panel and agent idle at about 27MB.
Commercial, closed source. Free tier live tomorrow, no card, no account.

Ich fange gerade an, Pixelfed auszuprobieren und bin gespannt. #pixelfed #fediverse
@dani Awesome, welcome to Pixelfed 🔥
Excited for this workshop tomorrow at @CIM@bonfire.cim.warwick.ac.uk
If you or anyone you know is in the area, whether in the University of Warwick's orbit or not, please come along to co-design the #OpenScienceNetwork, #Bonfire, and our #codesign methods themselves.
Dashmox goes live later today.
A hosting control panel for Linux servers. One command on Ubuntu 24.04 or 26.04 and you have websites, mail, DNS, SSL and backups in one place.
The free plan is the whole panel on one server. No card, no licence key, no account to create, and nothing is counted.
Pricing and docs are up now; the download follows in a few hours.
- dev / archi #PHP & #Drupal
- L’automatisation chaîne de production d’app web
- La #cicd : audit, conseil, setup

- Applications mobiles #android natives
Also since I’m on it, saying ‘nobody’s talking about anything interesting’ on Mastodon or Bluesky is such BS when you have the visibility and scale to bring topics and interesting things from other networks there yourself. Contributing to the community, not just taking from it. Building the bridges you would like to see, yourself. Fostering your different audiences, not throwing them under the bus

Everyone, I have a suggestion: New Skill November.
All these AI apps make it feel like instead of a structured architecture, the UI is the foundation, and what is stacked on top of it doesn't matter, because it's not user facing. Which could kinda spin into making sense, but in practice no, it's fucked up.
Hello #PortfolioDay!
I'm Ave from Germany and I'm usually either drawing slime girls or something with too many eyes.
Open for projects in 2027 - I make book illustrations and help with merch projects from design to production.
Be cool!

![NEW SKILL NOVEMBER
[an art nouveau painting in autumn colors of a woman playing the harp]
LEARN A NEW SKILL OR REBUILD AN OLD ONE; THE ONLY RULE: DO IT YOURSELF, DO NOT USE AI
Sketching, knitting, whittling, a musical instrument, a foreign language, a tricky video game, cooking, weaving, changing oil, riding a bike, painting, pixel art, website design, digital image editing, bookbinding, calligraphy, identifying mushrooms, embroidery, soldering, that one thing you've been putting off
Do the hard part yourself, no matter how imperfect it feels. Learn and internalize how it really works. Consult guides written by human experts, and ask your fellow human beings for help. Take pride in knowledge and abilities that are an intrinsic part of your existence and not dependent on renting from corporations.
