@evan As many as needed. Mama didn't raise no two-trip bitch.
@violenteastcoastcity my mom raised a guy who overloads himself and drops and breaks objects worth hundreds of dollars because he doesn't want to do the same 30-second walk twice.

If you didn't see a poll I made before it closed down, well, I don't know what to tell you. I post one every day, always 24 hours long. Follow me and check your Fediverse feed once a day, and you'll stop missing polls.
Thanks to everyone. For people who decided the question was about something ridiculous: I hope you had fun! Many clever replies.
For me, I can do one in each hand, and I can usually load up 3 or 4 in the crook of one arm. Sometimes I get another one under the other arm. I am going to say 5 to 8. I often think I can do more, but I really can't.
Hi @bobkmertz,
you can already truncate long messages under `Settings` --> `Content` --> `Truncate long messages`.

this week in pies
- sesame pumpkin
- buttermilk chess (a little too dark, because I mistook pooled butter for raw center when doing the jiggle test). this is the one that’s sugar cream adjacent, going to take to a midwestern friend’s housewarming and top with persimmons and maybe pomegranates I got on the drive up from LA last week
@christa this is making me want to bake
@ok One more time?
@ok let's test you too
@dansup Where are you?! Because I'm in NYC and it's 70 degrees (F) and I'm very comfortable in a sleeveless linen blouse and jeans.
No doubt Winter is coming, but it feels very far from here.
@Karen5Lund Grande Prairie, Alberta!
@8ball Are you working now?
@card Give me a card please
eggplant: one of the best foods when cooked well, one of the worst when cooked terribly
but it isn't that hard to cook well: slice it into rounds, salt it pretty significantly, add a bit of oil, let it sit for a bit, then pop it in the toaster oven / air frier / oven at about 400F for about 15-20min
It will come out tender yet crispy and delicious. I have been cooking it this way and adding it to pasta and this technique rules imo
