eggplant: one of the best foods when cooked well, one of the worst when cooked terribly

@marud

On ne s'habitue jamais vraiment hein ?

Quand ça arrive, et ça arrivera à nouveau ça ne fait aucun doute, il faut respirer avec le ventre comme ça : *inspire*... *hurle*... *inspire*... *hurle*... c'est un coup à prendre.

@nasher vilain tonton, vilain !

@marud Tusky déjà ? Mais c'est pas encore la saison...

@nasher@piaille.fr je veux te frapper

@aeva yours is really cool tho

you ever catch yourself thinking "man, everyone else's highly custom home made live programming language for audio synthesis is way better than mine"?

🌸 Heather Bell. I stumbled upon this tiny abandoned house while out on a walk today. Should I come back tomorrow and explore inside?

@Koodes Whatever this is I hope that @TodePond and @aeva and @vv are all completely aware and up to date as to what is going on here

@Koodes WHAT IS THIS?!?!?!?!!

This video could NOT have captured my attention more. Is this like a 3d bird based version of the Orca procedural music synthesizer? Or is it something else?

WHAT IS IT

Still working on the interface but I get close to what I want

@jackemled @Mastodon What reason is that?

Age verification laws that require users to possess a current passport, driver’s license, or similar to prove identity exclude critical populations. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2026/10/when-no-id-means-no-internet-age-verification-and-right-access-information

@bremner @aparrish Oh also if you want there's the Lisp Game Jam which is coming up real soon, and we have a template for that with a basic Breakout style game you can start with! See more here https://community.spritely.institute/t/autumn-lisp-game-jam-starting-on-10-30/848

If you participate in an open source project or community, when is the last time you actually read the code of conduct? 👀

If it’s been a while, I encourage you to go find and read it! It applies to everyone in the community, was written with care, and exists for a reason.

Community management and especially code of conduct enforcement is a tireless, oft-uncredited job. Help those folks out by reading, internalizing, and reiterating what they have written. 🙏
