These are the people building the Fediverse!

@aesthr holy fuck. I'm sorry you have to work under those conditions. That is fucked up
#Fedilab has left the Google Play Store.
You can update your Google version manually using the APK files attached to the release notes.
For automatic updates shortly after the release, I recommend switching to Fedilab's custom F-Droid repository.
See how to do that in the next message of this thread.

"should" and "is" are... arguing. 😊 This is my first time, and I do see the server (I installed my own) "see" the message counter increase! The logs show an increase of +1 with your new reply (and it shows all 3 now as log lines). So my push server is getting an event.
Yet on my mobile (which is showing connected and monitoring the "topic") is not popping up an event notification. I've just enabled the "Record Logs" feature in the ntfy android app as a next debug step. Adventure!
@nokke
Good luck. It took me a while to set up my own ntfy server too. When you log out of your account in Fedilab and back in (and also check your push provider again), it creates a new notification subscription.

oh no
forp violence
@apps Thanks.
Sadly, I never received a notification of your comment (everything shows connected and working) so not I'm not sure if this push notification stuff even works at all. :-/
@nokke
If you activate Unified Push in ntfy itself and do not receive enough notifications to get rate-limited, it should work.

Over the weekend, one of our Mirlo Stewards thought that they might quietly celebrate the 10th anniversary of their first solo album, but Mirb’s got other ideas and we’re going to share it with you for #MirloMondays!
This is the breathtaking “No Answers No” by @MOWUKIS. Find it on Mirlo. 💿🐦⬛You might also recognise the third track from watching @TIBtv...

@aesthr I have written that kind of thing but mostly just for professional contexts (as in: for the designers and developers at the firm I work for). That probably doesn't help much
https://tuts.cat/tuts.apk
codi font: https://codeberg.org/spla/Tuts-android
@spla per cert, ja que publiques amb un simple APK, podries publicar el SHA-256 per cada build
També mola fer un split per arquitectura, l'apk pesarà menys...
Publicat des de Tuts!

@phlip I can imagine some designers will purposely make their UIs spikier instead of rounder to protest this.

@zebulonmysterioso nope! The plane was apparently decoration for the venue behind it (there was another inside over the bar) until they abandoned the aerospace theme and the council took it over. Apparently now it's come down and being (been?) restored.
@japananon This is not its final form. Private groups were planned all along, my intention was to have proper subscriber-only posts built on top of private groups.
@japananon Private groups are actually supported since version 5.10.0, but you can't create / manage them, they must be created somewhere else (e.g. on Lemmy).
@silverpill Regarding the Groups incorporated into Mitra, right now it seems anybody can Follow and post to a Group freely, but from what I read about the AP Groups spec, it's possible (maybe?) to restrict membership/posting privileges or make Groups entirely private.
Is the current Groups implementation in its final form, or will there be extensions on its functionality in future?
