#Mastodon 4.6 is here! It's been a long time in the works, but it's finally ready. In this release, we're introducing Collections—a way to share curated collections of profiles to help old and new users discover more of the #Fediverse. We're also updating the look of profiles, alongside many quality of life and accessibility improvements. Read more here:

Wonderful, so we can all be tracked together.
@jesseplusplus that's too bad. Good luck in your work.
@evan thanks Evan 💜
I haven't been here much lately.. for the first few months it was because I was on maternity leave, but lately it's been because I'm spending my time on the Atmosphere instead. Especially since they are working on seriously implementing private data, it feels more and more like that protocol fits my needs more than ActivityPub.
I appreciate all the work that's been done here, but the easy data hosting and portability, dns usernames, and composable architecture on atproto are killer features.

I didn't expect people would get angry and entitled about free and open source code. I guess I should have known better.
@SylvieSadarnac navigate to your profile, and underneath it there is a "pencil" icon, click that and it should allow you to upload a new photo.
If you believe in the #Fediverse :
- post here
- bring your friends and family here
- tell companies, governments and creators to be here
- pay for your instance
- pay for your software
Do one thing every day. The Fediverse is worth fighting for.

ATmosphere 1.0.0 — Liftoff
This post isn't about the ActivityPub plugin. ATmosphere is a separate plugin from the same small team, for the other half of the open social web: the AT Protocol, the open network behind Bluesky. We're posting about it here because the audience overlaps and the mission is the…
