@kjv@mastodon.gamedev.place Not as far as I know, but the project is still relatively young. it offers partial compatibility with Mastodon apps, but also GraphQL and ActivityPub C2S APIs. I don't think many people have built a Fediverse app with those parts yet.

#Bonfire Instance goals for today: copy over our server rules, ToS, and Privacy Policy, get Search up and running, move the remaining accounts from our Akkoma instance over here, close down the Akkoma instance, and write a big fancy article about what we're trying to build.

Edit: I moved from Akkoma to Bonfire. I'm testing compatibility as part of the dogfooding process.

Got Tusky working, which is better than nothing. Some minor issues, avatars aren't showing up currently, so more experiments are necessary.

I will miss my beloved Moshidon in the meantime... 🥺

Okay! Looks like our Object Storage is good to go, now it's just a matter of getting Mastodon apps working...

So, I want to set general expectations before kicking things off officially.

Yes, We Distribute is launching a #Bonfire community and will be collaborating with the devs to build a unique flavor of it. We're still in the process of getting the basics set up, so please...be gentle.

I still have a few chores to do before pulling some levers and migrating our old Akkoma accounts over, but I'm really excited! We've wanted to do Bonfire for a long time!
