I secretly like Coldplay. None of my mates know. My wife doesn't know. In fact I go out of my way to make sure they all know I hate Coldplay. Their music is actually a guilty pleasure of mine, when alone, on the sly, like a Ginsters from a motorway petrol station.
@fesshole why? I openly like Coldplay. I just say to my family and friends "I quite like coldplay", and they just don't give a shit.
@fesshole eurgh. Utterly disgusting. Ginsters belong in the bin.
@fesshole you should be proud of what you love. Stand up straight in your slippers, tear open your cardigan and yell with pride at the Artex ceiling. Let your beige-painted walls resonate with your love of Chris Martin’s attempts at falsetto. Cry to the night, “Coldplay IS music by any reasonable definition!”
@fesshole I have a friend who is close with some of the band. They seem like decent people who want their audience to have a good time. We should let people enjoy things like that, even if we’re generally into other things.
@fesshole This seems like way too much work. Like what you like.
@fesshole Life is short and all you have coming is death and taxes, so if Coldplay is what floats your boat then go for it. Music is completely subjective, and hey; at least it’s not Oasis.
@fesshole Y'all are far too much into fashionable conformism.
@fesshole Secretly likes Coldplay, “guilty pleasure,” and his wife doesn’t know? So… this guy?
