taking stock of the yard and house post-windstorm. Nothing damaged aside from the loss of a few shingles!
Why did I put the filter bog and pump pond on the north side of the #poolpond? This is why!! 😝 💨 🍁
The hazelnut is stripped of its leaves. Ill just need to gather them out of the water
with the big plastic rake.
Greenhouse got a little soggy inside but nothing serious. It's already drying out in the breeze.

“Raking” the water to get the leaves out is weird, but strangely efficient.
Most of the leaves are out of the pond and either into the garden beds or spread around the edges. I don’t really like the gravel and rock border but it is necessary until the edges are planted with shrubbery ( 😆) so this will help soften it and start to create some mulch.
Then it was time to put up the bike shelter-turned-chicken-run and move the coop!
