Congress is back in sessoin tomorrow and their are reports that the Senate might vote on BAAJA, a "permitting reform" bill that guts environmental and tribal protections. Yesterday's "manager's amendment" didn't address the issues -- https://mailchi.mp/culturalheritagepartners/urgent-tell-your-reps-today-to-reject-the-managers-amendment-to-baaja?e=7e90c194ac, from 106 Strong, is a good discussion.
So now's a good time to contact your Senators and ask them to vote against BAAJA (S. 5653).

Contact your Senators makes it easy to get their direct number. You can also click on their name or image to get to their web page, which has a contact form if you'd prefer to email them.
@jdp23
sincere question: is it better to call today knowing i'll get voicemail they might check tomorrow morning, or wait until tomorrow when i'm up and the east coast has been going for a few hours? former, i assume?
this is also a trick question because staffers never, ever answer the phone in either of my senators' office, so it will be voicemail in any event
