OMFG, #clin-rs claims to be an #Obsidian-like tool for the terminal, but it totally looks like an #orgmode killer.
– notes, mind mapping
– calendar, tasks
– database, tables, Kanban…
– and even drawing!!!
… and, unlike Org-Mode, it supports external editors. <3

EDIT: this seems to be AI-generated. So I’ll probably just pass…
@fabi1cazenave @gc Just want to challenge this:
clin-rs stores in Markdown which is a bad format for interoperability & future proofness: https://karl-voit.at/2025/08/17/Markdown-disaster/
What brings you to the conclusion that you can't edit #orgdown files outside of Emacs? I do it all the time ... https://gitlab.com/publicvoit/orgdown/-/blob/master/doc/Tool-Support.org
Btw, Org has also node visualization: https://codefloe.com/publicvoit/orgheadingnetwork
And with artist mode, Emacs provides drawings like that for decades.
You can run Emacs in a text terminal as well (as on an Android device).
So overall, I guess I could not find anything in clin-rs which does seem to be an advantage compared to the Org ecosystem.
