afaik the only widely "banned" books in america are a couple of racist books completely banned from amazon the worlds largest bookstore. if you consider a private business removing a book "banning"

Maybe in America, but I assure you that's not true outside your borders.
The banned lists are secret, because they don't want us to draw inferences from the titles.
Here we prefer the term "import controlled", and there are tens of thousands of books on that list.
Its a secret list, of course, but I personally have had books seized at the border, and they were all politics and history, no porn or drugs or bombs
