@eniko Tools are not innocent ideologically. The "just a tool" suggestion reeks of the same kind of relativism as "guns don't kill people". A gun is a "tool" that is decisively not innocent, and though AI/LLMs might not be, arguably, as far down the continuum as guns, they're certainly on the negative side. Can AI be used positively? Absolutely. Is it designed in a way that makes it trivial to use it negatively? Most certainly.
just yelling that a thing is morally neutral loudly and often enough won't actually make it so
