@MostlyBlindGamer I have everything on HA already and all my automations, GHome is just a voice frontend for it all. I really need to figure out a replacement...
@lina right, I need to take that first step more seriously and then do the next one. @geerlingguy has a couple in interesting videos on things like RPi hats. Could be one direction.
@lina let me get this straight.
you asked it to do something, and instead of doing it, it read you an ad for the service that it sent your query to, which presumably you were already using because Google shut down their old system?

No, it sent me an ad to switch to the Gemini version, which I haven't opted into yet, I think?
No idea if what I'm using is also Gemini in some form or not but if it is, it is incredibly dumb and worse than what they had 5+ years ago....
@lina last year it stopped running the routine after my morning alarm on its own. Theyβre really making a push, I just want to hop off the track and go for Home Assistant instead.
I just got stuck with a lot of devices I canβt seem to connect to it.
