Hey, if anyone is looking for a taxidermied mongoose having a final battle with a taxidermied cobra, and has just been waiting for one to be dumped in the hard rubbish of a southeast Melbourne household, HMU. This will go quickly!

@valhalla @davidtheeviloverlord Lol, the latter, they are moving out (and dumping stuff on the nature strip, hoping it'll be scavenged).

@davidtheeviloverlord @valhalla The house it came out of had two autistic preteen boys. It will not (now) have venom.
@futzle is this Riki Tiki Taxidermy
@futzle my godparents used to own such a thing.
Fun fact: These used to get seized by Customs because the cobra still has the fangs, and so it probably still has the venom sacs, which might not be empty, and cobra anti-venom is hard to find in Australia.
@futzle this will haunt my dreams from this post alone, I can barely imagine the effects of having it on my mantelpiece!
