I've been spending time on Bluesky over the last few weeks, not posting, just reading. Not because I really want to, but because if you are interested in US election news the fedi is not a great place to get it. (Sigh.)
I am looking forward to tapering that off, though, because I do not need shit like this in my life
@jalefkowit It’s what they *said* and what they’ll DO in office (and their moral character) that makes them attractive! 🙂
I'm gonna be really frank here: this is a bad relationship to have with any politician, even ones on your side. You should think of a politician the way you think of a sponge. As long as it cleans up messes, you hang on to it. And when it stops being able to do that, you throw it out and get a new one
@jalefkowit I think this is also what's animating a lot of the anti-Schumer/Jeffries posting. Bluesky Libs demand "sexier" spokespeople to feed their dopamine habit.
@jalefkowit does it make you uncomfortable, Jason? Eh?
